Our Activities
Each month, residents are provided with an activities calendar. A variety of social, recreational, and educational events occur throughout the month. Some events take place here at the Manor, while others may be at the local park or restaurant. When an event is held away from the manor, transportation is provided for those who are interested in attending.
A Retirment Community and Lasting Friendship
During Resident Council meetings, ideas are often presented to determine the level of interest. Residents usually find something that interests them from variety of programs and weekly activities the Manor schedules. Our group activities include playing games, seasonal crafts, or just talking and socializing with other residents...of course with a delicious snack or two.
Enjoy Wonderful Meals and Special Outings
Throughout the year, we take a small group of residents to local restaurants for lunch. Although wonderful meals are provided at the Manor, going out is a special treat many enjoy. Residents sign up for this activity.Â
Events at St. James' Manor include BBQ's, silent auctions, and of course an annual holiday gathering in December. Staff and residents often provide entertainment, and local musicians add to the merriment. Several outside groups entertain us throughout the year. Our activities are not mandatory, thus giving our residents opportunities to participate in activities of their choosing.
